Butchering is a different activity altogether since it involves cutting up the goat carcass into pieces. The first step in this activity involves hanging the goat up on a gambrel. For instance, there is the possibility that the activity can take up to twenty four hours depending on the size of the goat and the storage facilities. Basically, the meat should be stored in a cool place and in cases where it is possible, it should be refrigerated. Cutting up the meat should be done in a reasonable manner since there are no specific instructions on where to cut and where not to. However, the legs should be separated at the joints. The joints are the places where there are distinct parts that mark specific regions such as the legs. The cutting should be done using sharp knives to avoid cutting up uneven meat pieces. The main idea here is to cut up the meat into small sizes that can be easily cooked. For cutting up the strong bones, a bone saw is used. It should be sharp as well. Wrap the meat in aluminium foil to preserve its taste. Otherwise, the entire butchering process should be a straightforward process if all the steps are followed.
