It’s Time to Improve the Reputation of Goat Meat in the U.S.
Here’s a goat recipe to try. This goat recipe takes 30 minutes to prepare and 1 hour and 10 minutes to cook. The dish will be ready to serve in 2 hours and 40 minutes. It’s called Goat Stew.
Dip goat meat in a bowl of vinegar, crushed garlic cloves, and soy sauce. Cover the bowl and refrigerate it for 1-8 hours. Afterward, dry the meat with paper towels (pat dry) and save the marinade and garlic for later.
Heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat and brown the goat meat. Set aside after 10 minutes.
Cook onions, red bell peppers, and garlic cloves from the marinade over medium heat for 5 minutes. Add tomato sauce and simmer the mixture for an additional 5 minutes.
Add goat meat to the mixture and pour the remaining beef stock and marinade. Boil the mixture then simmer for 30-40 minutes. Stir in peas, carrots, potato, and season with salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Simmer for 20-30 additional minutes. It’s the perfect goat recipe.
Casseroles aren’t as Easy to Prepare as They Look

The first casserole was prepared by Elmire Jolicoeur in New Hampshire in 1866. The Lancashire hotpot was one of the earliest casserole dishes. It was prepared in North West England. Lancashire hotpot consists of lamb, onion, and sliced potatoes. It is baked in a heavy pot on low heat.
Make Your Own Cheese Steaks
If you like cheese steaks, try making one yourself. You will need frozen steaks, onions, cheese, and hoagie bread. Heat oil on a pan and fry the onions. Set the onions aside. Heat more oil in the pan and place the steak in the oil. Cook the meat until it is brown. Use a spatula to break the meat into pieces. After the meat is cooked, add the fried onions, and two slices of cheese on top of the mixture. After the cheese has melted, use the spatula to scoop up the meat-cheese-onion mixture. Place it into a hoagie bread. Add salt and pepper.
