my cutie babies go absolutely bananas for this delicious snack! my cat, latte cannot go without eating one every dinner time; once im done filling his bowl, he will walk back to me waiting on me to add a chicken heart to his plate. casper, my other cat, removes his from the plate and eats it right next to it; he's so protective of it. they're pretty mad at me for running out and not restocking them (whoops)

My dog likes them. Perfect treats for our upcoming hiking trip to Custer State Park, Wyoming and Montana. Will buy again!!

Heart to heart this is one the best single ingredient treats on the market! My 5 year old pitbull loves them! No digestion issues, or going to bathroom. Easy to chew even though he demolishes them in one good bite.

My dog, Sir Jaco the Weimaraner loves these treats. We are getting ready to leave to The Dakota's, Wyoming and Montana and these treat are perfect for all the hikes we will be doing. The beef liver treats are great for training rewards.

Started with Chicken Liver for my Maine Coon cats. Being picky I tried a little crushed up Chicken Liver on their wet food. Making a big difference finishing their food and good nutrients for them.

I think what I love most about these is that there aren’t any big fat globs—and that I can quickly and conveniently give them to my fur baby without having to pick them apart like some other beef 🥩 hearts out there!!! Thank you 🙏

My two British Blues are absolutely insane for this this stuff. They keep moving bedtime up earlier because this is their bedtime treat.

I have Two picky eaters and I try to find healthy snacks they like . This works I can even pour their omegs in a dish which they don’t like and top it with the duck and they will eat it .

This is my first order from Shephard Boy Farms I've been using a different brand with my picky dogs for some time and when you find a healthy option they actually eat, you stuck with it. While looking to reorder I discovered the brand and did my research, was pleasantly happy with what I read and of course, user reviews were heavily influencing.I got both thier brand Duck Hearts and Chicken hearts. The dogs have never had duck heart before so this is a tolerance test, but so far they love them and hasn't caused any stomach or stool issues.The Duck Hearts are about 2x-2.5x larger than their brand Chicken Hearts. Shepard Boy Farms Chicken Hearts not only larger than Stella & Chewy brand but also are much better looking in color and shape. SBF brand is price competitive and also appears to be a far superior product in overall quality for a freeze dried organ meat. The Duck hearts share that same level of quality, and appearance.For both the chicken hearts and the duck hearts, they come nicely sealed with absorbers, in a heavy duty resealable bag. The treats are not greasy or soggy, they are firm yet giving and not at all crumbly. They are easily chewed by even our small dog. The size consistency, color, shape and feel of the pieces is all very similar and uniform.I'm really happy that is a USA sourced and produced product. It's all natural with nothing added or nothing subtracted with a gentle freeze dried process that preserves the organ meats integrity and natural characteristic.

So I love that it’s single ingredient and I’ve been using it for about 2 months and my only complaint is that sometimes you get bags like this where about a quarter of the bag is just powder… I get that it’s freeze dried and overtime some of the pieces break down but for 30 dollars i would like the bag to last longer… I’ve been just using the powder to stuff into a king toy or something not to waste it but since I use these for training treats it’s a bit frustrating when a quarter of the bag is powder…

Objectively speaking these are great training treats. They're the perfect size, uniformly cut/portioned and they aren't flakey or crumbley like some freeze dried treats. Single ingredient, made AND sourced in the USA - it doesn't get any better than that when choosing a treat.I rated these a 4 instead of a 5, because while Ash likes them very much, and she's been eating them for a couple of weeks and they agree with her; she doesn't "over the moon, would do anything for them" love them. To be fair, when it comes to mental work, she's a bit L.A.Z.Y; and we haven't actually found any treat yet that she's over the moon for - but that's our benchmark for 5 stars.

I got these in because they said they were made in America. And the right size for training treats. The first time I gave them to my dog he just threw them on the ground. After a minute he picked it back up and ate it. Now he gobbles them up as soon as he gets a chance to. They are a good size to use for training and practice. My only real complaint is they have a very strong odor. Other than that my dog now loves them.

This 3-ounce bag contains both cubed and shredded chicken priced at $15. However, it didn't last long because my Labrador/Ridgeback and Doberman/Rottweiler really enjoyed it. To make the bag last longer, I decided to use it as a topper on their Kibbles; it whets up their appetite to eat their Kibbles.These chicken treats are odorless and free from any spices. Normally, my Labrador/Ridgeback eats chicken snacks last, but he seems to really enjoy this bag of chicken treats and would even beg me to sprinkle it on his kibbles before eating his meal.Based on my dogs' approval and my personal experience of feeling, smelling, and feeding it to them, I can confirm that the Shepherd Boy freeze-dried chicken treats are made from wholesome chicken.

So first off, my dog loved these treats. They advertise it as only one ingredient, which is awesome. I received this product at a discount, but I do feel the full price is too much to pay for the amount you receive. The treats are very light-weight (since they are freeze-dried) so the dog can eat a lot. Also, a bunch of the treats were smooshed (I suppose during shipping), so there were a lot of wasted crumbs in the bag.If you’re not worried about the price tag and simply want the best for your dog; this seems to be a winner.

This is possibly my dogs highest value reward. He goes absolutely bananas for them. They are stinky, kind of like beef liver. Before opening the bag, they appeared to all be crushed and broken but it seems that the majority are intact and just the bottom contains a lot of fallout product. Possibly got crushed a bit in the shipping process. I will use the powdered bits as a meal topper so I don’t mind, but when you are purchasing for treat use it could be annoying to see a lot of unusable product at the bottom. These crumble pretty well, but do not powder when crumbled, they crumble into little pieces. Overall I do recommend them and will repurchase when we run out.
